When in hospital, why I am expected to eat the meal ordered by the previous patient?

Yep - and I have rotten food allergies (tongue swells etc). I found myself in the same situation as you when I was rushed to hospital a few years ago and by the time i could eat the following evening I couldnt have what was ordered by the previous patient. They couldnt fix me up something else as the caterers had closed the kitchen so I had to make do with a cup of tea. Was starving on top of being in serious pain and suffering all the stress of being in hospital etc. Nightmare.

It sounds like you are just late. Brown means old blood, and that the flow changed to red is a good sign. It sounds more like your period was delayed for some reason (mine was sometimes delayed after having ). Under normal cirstances you would not have a regular period if you were pregnant. Any number of things can cause a delay of your period. If your period continues for a couple more days as it is now, it would be safe to ume you are okay. If you feel the need to be absolutely sure, wait at least one week before trying a pregnancy test.

unfortunately you opened a whole can of worms with that question. excuse the pun. ok now to Business. the line choice you make depends on what bait you will more than likely use. mono floats and is great for top water and shallow running cranks.floro sinks and is less visible under water. use this for deep divers and jerk baits, texas rig, or Carolina rig or even finesse or drop shot. braided line is best for heavy cover or larger fish. all of the fish species you mention all require different set up. you wouldn't use the same set up to catch crappie and cat fish. if i had to choose one line out of them all i would go with a 12 or 14# floro. that should cover large mouth and small mouth. for fishing crappie i would go with a 6lb floro. for cat i would go for a 35lb braid with no leader. i don't like leaders because of one simple rule. your line is only as strong as your leader. if you tie a 6lb leader to 35lb braid you will only have 6lb of strength. you mentioned that you caught all these different fish i ume with other people's Equipment. you must have noticed that the rods,lines, and lures were all different for each type of fish?

Heart beating too fast?

I was diagnosed over five years ago with mild pulmonary hypertension. I have been doing extremely well, spin cycling, long distance walking, etc. I had a recent sonogram , EKG work up etc. I had a excellent feed back other than what is wrong. I also did a heart testing while walking on the treadmill. My target rate was 46, I went up to about 72. Just today, for the first time ever..., I noticed my heart pounding so hard that i saw it vibration outside of my shirt. At first it started beating fast then the actual visualization, and eventually it calmed down. Prior to the horrible event, i had eaten a grill cheese for breakfast. I then walked up the train stairs, about 50 steps. While walking i usually take deep breaths, in through the nose out through the mouth as i find this easy while I am climbing the NYC train stairs on a daily basis. I always try to remain relaxed and breath free when walking. When i first sat down, this is when I experienced the problem. Could this be due to the deep breathing or the cold weather? Or could it be related to the condition-the doctor told me i shouldn't have any problems?? or could it just be anxiety attacks out of no where? Help Thanks

Feeling unsettled & disturbed?

Why would God answer a selfish, wicked prayer? A relative of mine has for the past few years admitted to me that she has always encouraged her teenage daughter to have so that she could become a grandmother. She loves children and feels lost now that all of her own have grown. I have been praying for the past few years that God would lead her to understand this requests was not only selfish, but against the lifestyle God expects us to live. I receive a call this morning from her that she is rejoicing because God has answered her prayers. Her 18 yr. old unwed daughter is pregnant. Just bought a new Maytag stove. My mother is converting from gas to all electric. I took some electric cles in school but i dont remeber to much about ohms law. Hi! It's great that you're commited to starting! I think it would be great if you exercised 3-4 times a week, then worked up to every day, if you can. I'm sure you'll be able to do a lot more than you think. I suggest running, because I love it, and it burns a lot of calories. Find an exercise that you really love, or at least something that doesn't bore you to death. Try dance, pilates, yoga, weight lifting, join a sport, swim, etc. Aim for at least 30 minutes a day, then work up to an hour. As far as a meal plan, I think 1500 calories would be a realistic goal. Have 300 for breakfast, 400 for lunch, 500 for dinner, and 2 snacks of 150 calories. Don't worry if you go a little over, be it helps to have a goal. It also helps to write out everything you eat, so you can really see it. As long as you stay within your calorie goal, you can, technically, eat whatever you want, but if you only eat sweets, you will probably go over. I suggest eating lots of veggies and fruit, and not much juice, soda, candy, sweets, etc. I don't think you sould do any "diets", but just aim to be healthy because you are young and still growing. Enjoy your new body! Good luck!

I think you are referring to the series called Ancient Aliens. Much of that has been disproved. Although I will say this. I would probably accept that as a more credible theory than most religions or philosophies because there is a high probability of there being life on other planets. However, according to that show they believe that the ancient Sumerians were the first Sapiens Sapiens and that the aliens used them as slaves. They said that aliens saw mankind and they changed our dna to form modern humans so that they would have a workforce to mine the planet for its resources. This is all based off of some peoples' interpretation of some Sumerian tablets. There are some things that are in that series that science has yet to answer though, and I find that interesting. If that theory were to somehow proven I would actually be pleased. Then we could finally do away with all the religious nonsense in the world. 40 caliber S &W OR GLOCK WHICH ONE WOULD YOU WANT FOR HOME SECUITY.?

I am biased because I won a glock but I would go with the glock. It is so simple to use, load point and pull the trigger. I actually dont see much of mine because when I married my wife she now loves it and wont carry anything but the glock. Her S&W .38 revolver is sitting in a drawer because she doesn't carry it any more. The .40 doesn't have much of a recoil as so it is easy to handle. I do not like the S&Ws because they feel bulky in my hands, but you need to go with whatever pistol works best for you, if you dont like the glock dont get it, a gun is a tool that can save your life, so you need to be comfortable with it and enjoy using it. All of that will be easier if it a gun that you enjoy shooting.

I have noticed that my body is really asymmetrical. I was wondering if there was any underlying meanings for this. First my pupils are entirely two different sizes. My baby cried for 3 hours straight last night?

My son is 5 weeks old and he started crying at 10 and finally ped around a little after 1. I feed but sometimes supplement formula. I fed on both off and on an hour before he started crying. I fed him 2 oz of formula around 11 after feeding the whole first hour he cried. He kept pulling off and crying and crying. I changed his diaper twice. I tried swaddling him, rocking him, humming to him, making sure he wasn't hot or cold, make sure nothing on his body hurt, bouncing him, dancing with him, feeding him more, burping him, doing the bicyle motion, holding him laying across my chest (how you hold gy babies) burped him some more. He spit up and acted hungry but pulled off the everytime I tried to feed him. I fed him 1 more oz of formula around 1245 and he took it no problem. After he finished it he cried some more finally I layed down put him on my chest and let him cry. That only lasted 10 min and he FINALLY fell asleep. My question is what else can I do if this happens again? Why do you think this happened? My thought was gas. I'm praying that he doesn't have colic :(I went crazy trying to help him but didn't know what else to do. I felt so bad for him. If it helps he never usually spits up maybe once every two days. But today he has spit up ALL day at least 30 times. He also has a stuffy nose I have been suctioning it out throught the day. He was a little fussy yesterday morning also but not this bad at all he cried off and on for maybe an hour. But he usually doesn't do this. He usually wakes up every 2 1/2 half hours at night and he slept 7 hours this morning! My supply is going to be shot.

I went to visit my nan for the first time as she moved from England to Spain 3 years ago. She moved to the town of La Marina near Alicante and I was expecting a small Spanish town with white washed houses, tapas bars and authentic spanish restaurants. When I got there I was in complete shock. My nan hadn't made friends with any Spaniards, just English, she shopped at the local British supermarket (which stocks everything that is available to us in the UK), she took us to her favourite British bar 'Big Ben' and she hadn't learnt one word of Spanish!!!! Well I started to go out and enjoy my freedom more..spend my money how i want to, go back to school, gave myself a real big make over and just completely reinvented myself! I began talking to my ex boyfriend. (he n i dated for about four years before i married my husband) We were always hanging out and talking to each other. I substituted church with bars and bible study with late nights at able bees having lots of Perfect Margaritas! All the while my husband and I were just talking but he made it clear to me that he had no intentions of ever coming back..When i would tell him to just file for divorce he would tell me that he wasn't ready to do that yet. SO I Was in LIMBO!! Which is really hard to be in...The not knowing what was going to happen to us was really stressful. So i asked if he could just lay next to me cuz i felt lonely. (he was there because we are all mutual friends...in case you were wondering.) SO he did. We had already decided that it would be best to just stay friends and to give each other time to heal over our relationships. NExt thing I know I wake up to movement and he was on top of me! We were engaging in . I freaked out so I pushed him off and rolled off the bed and started to cry out for my husband. My friends must have heard me so they came in the room and wrapped me in a blanket. I was covered in my own vomit!! My friends wife took me to the shower and laid me in her bed. I Was out for the night and the next morning! I went home and Ive been feeling very guilty over it. Its been three weeks since this happened..i haven't been able to sleep or eat or anything. Ruger lists the P345 as having a 12lbs recoil spring (the P90 is 11lbs :0 ). I have heard of people shooting 5000+rounds from a P345 and not mentioning anything about changing or strengthening the recoil spring for +P or the prolonged use. I am kinda worried because I don't want to damage the frame, but I do think the spring is kinda weak (it failed to retutn to battery once during breakin). Open this and make sure no boxes are selected, even the automatic, and OK out. Close and reopen IE. One thing that is easy to do is not seat the cable fully in the card. It catches on the card seperator edge and does not fully lock.

Sims 3 World Adventures China - Dong Huo's Treasure Trove?

In Sims 3 for the quest to find Dong Hou's treasure on the Curious Note quest in the tomb under the market, I've been able to access all of the rooms (I think), even the one where you get the relic symbolizing you completed the quest or what not. However, there's this one blacked out room I'm noticing and I can't figure out how to get into it. To better clarify, this room is closest to the long hallway full of traps that you use the four keys to disable. It's off of the actual treasure room with the leopord print throne chairs where there's the arches leading to the 6 rooms where additional treasures are. From one of those rooms there's these red awning/curtain things just hanging there and a wall with a torch on it, and the black room is right next to this room, and appears as if it should be accessed from here but alas it is not. Sorry if all that explanation makes no sense. I'd upload a picture of it if I could but it doesn't look like I can do that on Yahoo Answers. Anyone know what I'm talking about, where I can get answers or give me any ideas for how to solve this? I'd really appreciate it! Thank you in advance. This thing is driving me nuts!

Dumb teacher.. Stupid Punishment..?

Okay so I have this teacher who always bitches.. Recently she igned some homework that could only be done in school, it was about 15 pages long and we could on do it in cl and had about 1 hour to do it. Honestly right there it wasn't fair to the students, so a lot of us decided to collaborate on it and copy sections that we each did. I got caught cheating and I was igned a punishment, in which part was to write a letter to my parents of the events that partook on that day. I wrote the letter then agreed with my mom that my father wouldn't be told of it. (He has anger management issues and I don't want corporal punishment.) I had my mother sign the letter than took it to the teacher. She told me she wants both parents to sign it. I politely told her of me and my mother's plans, yet she still told me she wants both signatures. Is it really her choice to decide on this family matter? As I write this I seriously want her to be dead. And no don't tell me that I should just take my punishment, because that's not what I asked. Nor do I want you to tell me about hatred and wanting her to die, because if I had the decision over her life, I'd end it.

A few years back i was told i have ahigh level of thyroid antibodies but normal thyroid levels. I've had symptoms of hypothyroid, but everytime I get lab work done, all it shows are high antibodies but normal thyroid levels. I would go see your doctor. From what you've described, it sounds like you may have ADD. I was diagnosed with it in the 3rd grade and 10 years later, I'm still dealing with it. Caked scalp due to product buildup?

Hi everyone. I use two main products for my hair before I straighten it. I only wash my hair once a week since it is too much of a hle to wash it all the time since my hair gets really damaged and starts to break off. So after a while, I get a buildup of products on my scalp. So bad that I can literally sc it off with my fingernail. It's only a cm or half a cm thick but thats still a lot when nothing should be on my scalp in the first place. My friend had the same problem and said there are a couple shampoos out there aimed to solve this type of problem and I was wondering if any of you knew the names of these products and where I can buy them at affordable prices? We have a 5 month old GSD/Golden mix. we are really hoping that her ears will stand, they do a lot of crazy things and we think they will. we are looking into taping her ears, but we know that its not always likely to work. her dad was the GSD and she seems to have more of his traits than that of her mothers. we know that if we do tape her ears that the best time is to do it after she's done teething. we've done a lot of research, and the vet said she doesnt think it will work, but if we want to try it she doesnt see the harm. and please no rude answers.. thank you!

Hi i am 22 years old....My dads sister( my aunt) had a brain tumor when she was about 25....It was benign but very serious....I am so terrified that i will also get a brain tumor...How genetic is it? I also just had a baby 9 months ago ad had a perfect pregnancy...if i had a brain tumor wouldnt it have shown abnormalities in my bloodwork? Did my fiance's family lie to him about his Dad's cancer?

I started dating my boyfriend a little over a year ago. Shortly after, he told me about some health problems his father had been having. First, I learned about a major surgery that no doctor would touch save for a surgical team at Johns Hopkins. From that moment forward, I suspected his father had cancer based on many factors. First, the fact that in order to kill "benign" tumors, the doctors had injected some sort of poison. This "poison" caused his father, an avid drinker, to develope psorosis of the liver. They fly out to Johns Hopkins every couple of months for his dad to get a check up. He has weekly appointments with the local doctor. I umed it was from radiation therapy as his dad had not lost a lot of hair. In the past month, his dad began going through Chemotherapy. At that point, I knew he had cancer. Last week, my boyfriend came home really upset. He looked at me and said, "my dad has cancer." I told him that I knew and I was sorry. Then, he proceeded to explain to me that he had just figured it out by directly asking his mother. She told him they had only known for a few months. Is it just me, or is this about the same thing as lying?

I'm a 21 year old guy and I came here in America about a year ago . I noticed that alot of teenagers and people within their early 20's feel the RUSH of getting married and have kids. Most of them are not financially stable or have a good job. And much worse they don't have the knowledge concerning financial literacy at all, which will greatly jeopardize themselves and their family. I also noticed that most of them are single parent or their husband are totally IRRESPONSIBLE & happy go lucky guys, as if they didn't even choose their husbands or wife. I asked alot of people mostly girls who are pregnant or have kids if why do they have that kids and they will just tell me that it just happen. Well they have 3 kids and IT JUST HAPPEN? There is no planning or financial consideration. I do my reasearch about this and I found out that at the end of this decade, 1 in every 7 couple or families who have kids will go bankrupt. Childcare and education keeps going higher and having kids have a huge impact financially. I don't think we will produce a good society and good kids with this kind of poor mentality. What do you think guys? I'm just concern because of this people are TRAPPED big time and they are utterly oblivious about it.

Can a horse bite near the sternum damage my lung or anything serious?

Ok, I was bitten by a horse at work today ( I work on a ranch with rescue horses), and I'm wondering if I should be concerned about the bite or not... I've been bitten or nipped at several times in the past year (comes with the job); but this time it's right on my chest, about an inch above to the right of my sternum. I know it's going to be more painul because it's bony there, but it was so painful when he did it that I got lightheaded and had to sit for a bit. It's hurt a little to breathe ever since. I'm guessing that it's going to hurt like that for awhile just because of the bruise being where it is. Is there any chance it could have bruised or hurt an organ or anything? I didn't figure so, and I feel kind of silly going to the doctor for this "little" bite~ well, at least the bruise is little on the outside. Has anyone seen any injuries from this kind of horse bite? By the way, please don't tell me to sue~ I just want to know whether to get it checked or simply to ice it..

Can I use carburetor solvent to clean the bolt in my rifle?

I have a gallon 'paint can' of carb cleaner solvent. Drop the carb parts in, let them sit overnight, and they come out clean. The firing pins on my rifles are getting gummy, and I have one new (to me) rifle covered in cosmoline.
