It sounds like you are just late. Brown means old blood, and that the flow changed to red is a good sign. It sounds more like your period was delayed for some reason (mine was sometimes delayed after having ). Under normal cirstances you would not have a regular period if you were pregnant. Any number of things can cause a delay of your period. If your period continues for a couple more days as it is now, it would be safe to ume you are okay. If you feel the need to be absolutely sure, wait at least one week before trying a pregnancy test.
