My father took money out of my custodial account.?

I called the cops on my father after he attacked me, and he took money out of a custodial account for me to pay his lawyer. He also took the rest (college money) for whatever selfish gains. This to me does not seem morally right at all, can I do anything about it because that money was not all his. I knew nothing about this when I was little and the account was created, how was I supposed to know this would happen?
