What are the chances of a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mixs' ears to stand?

We have a 5 month old GSD/Golden mix. we are really hoping that her ears will stand, they do a lot of crazy things and we think they will. we are looking into taping her ears, but we know that its not always likely to work. her dad was the GSD and she seems to have more of his traits than that of her mothers. we know that if we do tape her ears that the best time is to do it after she's done teething. we've done a lot of research, and the vet said she doesnt think it will work, but if we want to try it she doesnt see the harm. and please no rude answers.. thank you!
