Is it dangerous to astral travel as much as using a ouija board?

Hello, I'm a 17 year old boy with a lot of problems and who always end up lying to psychologist. I want to astral travel because I heard that you can go back in time and see your consequences. Also, you can meet your spirit guide. However, I'm really scared of ghost. What scares me the most is seeing deformed ghost. I used skype crossovertalk and that scared the **** out of me because it said real name I never use anywhere. And I would never plan using a ouija board because there would be more consequences. I asked this again because I put this on the religion section by accident which I hate because of many rude atheist.
