A story that illustrates, "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" what does it "illustrate" to you ?

The girl was selfish before she got her sight back. Her constant thoughts were about what she did not have. She didn't see the value of what she did have-- a devoted, loving boyfriend. I don't think she really changed at all.
