Ever experience a bi-polar acid trip?

Here's another LSD question. I once took a very high dose of LSD, within an hour my soul was being ripped apart and i completely went terrifyingly stark raving psychotic. This nightmare lasted about 3 hours and within 15 minutes i went from experincing the depths of hell to having a fantastic wonderful time for the remainder of the trip. Very odd.
