Xbox 360 controller..HELP !?

I need to open up my xbox 360 controller because i need to clean it and tighten up the thumbsticks, this job requires a couple of hours work and dedication as well as 5 dollars for a screwdriver. Microsoft however needs 2 wEEKS ! and it might even take 3! Not fair and ridiculous. If htey dont wnat their customers to tamper with their controllers then at leasdt decrease the time and $ ( I NEED TO PAY 10 bucskto ship1) . Is their a way to remove and put back the sticker covering the 7th screw so that microsoft doesnt know i opened it?
